3 Big Events in June
The Sun Festival in Alexander City kicks off on June 1 and runs all week. This year Sun Festival wraps up with the Annual Jazz Festival. On Saturday June 9th you will not want to miss Lil' Calypso hosted by Chucks Marina. So much to see and do at Lake Martin. Get outside and have fun. We are blessed to have so much opportunity right here in our on little back yard.
Sun Festival
June 1 through 9 Alexander City will come alive with event after event the entire week. So much fun. Thanks to the Alexander City Chamber for such an amazing event every year. Jazz Festival
The 28th Annual Alex City Jazz Fest presented by Russell Lands On Lake Martin is set for Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th.
Friday night's show in downtown Alex City's Strand Park features Birmingham's New Devils, New Orleans staple Jon Cleary and American rock-n-roll band Hollis Brown!
Saturday's show at The AMP on Lake Martin welcomes the Yonrico Scott Band, jazz guitarists Roman Street and Alabama's own Taylor Hicks!

Lil' Calypso
One of the best art shows on Lake Martin. The Lil' Calyspo has grown and grown over the years. The host Chuck's Marina does a fantastic job.
Come out and see Canvas Art, Folk Art, Handcrafted Furniture, Pottery, Handcrafted Jewelry, Metal Art & Signs, Glass Art and more.
Oh and of course plan to have the famous Chuck's Pizza on the deck.
Dan Adams from Austin TX will be playing on the deck from 1 - 4pm.
